It is with great pride that we have the pleasure to inform you that we have just received two prestigious awards for our Prosecco.

The 39th Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOC Exhibition, held at San Pietro di Barbozza a small village in the hills of the home country of Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOC took place last week. The Exhibition has been running since 1970 and is recognised globally as the most selective judging for Prosecco wine. The judges are local oenologists, wine experts, wine producers and sommeliers, whom interact with Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOC on a daily basis and who whilst having developed a strong sentiment for Prosecco also have the highest quality expectations towards this wine.

This is the serious test for wine producers in Valdobbiadene and only the best yearly production is awarded; in fact if you visit their homepage (unfortunately only in Italian!) http://sanpietrodibarbozza.it/news_desc.asp?id=13&%20id_categoria=2& you will observe that only gold medals have been listed even though hundreds of Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCs were tasted from over 200 winemakers in the Valdobbiadene Conegliano Prosecco DOC area. This doesn't mean that the wines who didn't receive an award were not good - it simply means that the awarded were extraordinary!

We are very proud to have received a Gold Medal for our Brut and commendation for our Extra Dry.
